Hi all

Hi all! I’m blogging at Romance Recipes today! Come on by for my recipe for Rewena (Māori) Bread! If you’re not from New Zealand, it’s probably new to you!
This was yesterday’s batch, in the photo, still in the Dutch Oven, or Umu. 🙂
I’m putting this recipe in my soon-to-be-released Book 3 of The Long Trails series, A Sea of Green Unfolding! which takes place in the SF Bay Area and New Zealand, in 1863!

  6. The recipe’s posted on that site, come on by and copy it! It’s a compilation of my many perusals of many recipes…and it worked! Took what I knew about sourdough and put that into action. 🙂 xx Enjoy!

  7. can you use regular potatoes rather than sweet potato?

    1. The recipe is for potato, but you can use kumara or sweet potato if you wish. 🙂
